My focus has been on building new creative capabilities for agencies, with a special emphasis on international work for clients that operate across markets. (Most recently I've been doing this as Managing Director for Creative and Content at DDB Group Hong Kong.)
To do this, I build team cultures based on principles of collaboration, curiosity, freedom, and the empowerment of those who work with me.
I bring 18 years of agency experience in creative roles spanning advertising, digital, social media, public relations, and content production. I also offer deep international experience from working in Australia, Hong Kong, the UK, and New Zealand, on projects that have spanned regions and, indeed, the world.
My work has been recognized over 100 times at creative award shows including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Spikes, AdStars and AdFest. The agencies I've worked for have won multiple times at Agency of the Year events. I’ve served as a judge for award festivals, and as a teacher of creative training courses. And I’ve written for industry publications and spoken at industry events.
Along the way, I picked up a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Commerce. I've been a sports journalist and a PR guy. And away from work, I'm a songwriter and lead guitarist for rock band LISTEN.
